About Me
My name is Saajan Patel, and I'm a graduate with a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Nova Southeastern University. I also obtained a Full Stack Web Development certification at the University of Miami during my time in grad school. - Developing application dashboard to allow users with authorized permissions to view potential security risks.
- Implemented Storybook and Rollup to create a custom React component library with individual components that can be used within multiple company-wide applications.

- Developed Annotator/Surgery Viewer portion of the Artisight suite to allow residents and other surgeons to view and annotate videos of completed surgeries in order to provide a useful tool for education.
2020
Front End Engineer
Two Six Technologies
- Developed Grafana dashboards that worked as an interface with Garmin smartwatches to track user health over time as well as measure potential risks.
- Used JIRA to track daily workflow of tickets to contribute to the React development of DTECT, an application that allows users to track potential radiological and nuclear attacks.
- Used Balsamiq and Figma to design the user interface of a NG911 (Next Generation 911) application and developed a prototype using React.
2019
Full Stack Developer
Sev1Tech, LLC
- Redesigned an existing application for the Health and Human Services division to modern standards using React. Additionally, worked on the backend using Node.js, Express, and AWS technologies.
- Developed an internal application using Electron with a React framework, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Express.
- Used RemedyForce for task flow including priority level, start/end date, task description, etc.
- Migrated existing data to the cloud (native Windows machines to AWS).
- Created dashboards for tracking, logging, and reporting of server data.
2017

- Used HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Primefaces to modify several DISS applications to ensure Section 508 compliance.
- Implemented JIRA tickets in a day-to-day SCRUM workflow to assign and complete tasks.
- Used Git/local servers to share and edit different builds of code.
